I was just thinking about making a nubee guide when it has occurred to me that I have forgotten how to be a nubee. I mean, in this game. I may be a perpetual nube do to my age or perhaps, or because of it. Who knows? I have to wonder though…ah forget it I got too much other things on the go right now haha…
Jumpin’ Jeesus! That reminds me when I first got here. To Project Entropia I mean. No guide, no help, no controls, no money and NO IDEA HOW BAD IT COULD REALLY GET! I was disoriented, there was no tutorial, no guides. I was actually so fuckin’ mad at the clunky controls if I could have thrown the dam game there would still be a crater where it landed. Sigh. Ah, the good old days…so, anyways, I quit and forgot about it for nearly a year.
Looking back I should have stayed playing the whole time without making a deposit. Or quit. Maybe. The controls just take a bit of time to adjust to.
When I got back into it I went for about a day before I did it. Everyone makes mistakes. I should have waited until I was more familiar with the environment. More aware of the fact that this is not just a game with an economy, it’s a game with an entire economic system and community. Who would have even thought that the underground world of loan sharks, spys, double agents, bank robbers, Nigerian Scammer University graduates, common thieves, petty mobsters, dirty ores and the like would even have a place in a MMO game?
Who would have even suspected that to upgrade armor you MUST do it yourself?
Who would’ve had any idea that a nice guy I met in the auction house was a professional conster plying his prey?
When he offered to upgrade my 60 USD armor for free I was delighted.
I gave him my Gremlin arm armor thinking if he does that then I can trust him. He said he needed the whole set to go in the machine he couldn’t do it piece by piece. I was a bit suspicious but I fell for it and gave up the rest of the armor. I eventually figured out I wasn’t getting the set back. Sigh. The guys name was Arun. That was a long time ago. Lesson learned.
Don’t buy expensive armor and stand around wearing it in the auction house acting like an obvious nube looking to get conned. That’s the guide I guess.
It’s not so bad once you start figuring it out and getting used to the controls. Read this article the 12 Minute Shudder before you get started. Emotionally charged to say the least, haha.
After all that I still play the game. I may not love it but, I am certainly hooked. I like plenty about the game never-the-less and if you’re still reading this you must be into it too. Just bring some cash, say, enough to buy a planet, maybe 100,000USD then sit around and wait for that Asteroid, Land Area or Super Annoying Vastly Mysterious Confoundingly Oblique and Counterintuitively named Uber Object to come up on the auction so you can snipe it like the other evil bastages in the last 5 mins while the other oblivious buyer snoozes. Yes, the evils have infiltrated the Auction House too. Sadly, this is probably the most dangerous part of the game (and you thought it was the monsters). You want to talk about hard to figure out – here is a nice guide for pricing: MyTwoPecs. If you can survive all the real life crap about this game it’s actually kind of fun to play.
Just today I got a 103PED mining global – O that reminds me, hehe, I gotta go.

So How You Like My New Store?

Wow there we go it works already. So lets get right into the first order of business. Before you all go buying like crazy, first you gotta know a few things like, you probably want to be a (F) avatar participant in Entropia Universe. You might want to contact me first so we can arrange a meeting where I can give you the set in game-person as soon as the cash reaches my agents grimy paws. And, after all that you might consider meeting me and paying with PEDs in person, instead, which is obviously easier, hay?
Gremlin(F) Armorset 60USD
Here is a beauty for the first set to appear here on Virtual eGoods. Gremlin(F) was my first set and my buddies first set. I currently have both sets for sale. You know how nice it is to have the whole set in one go. Sixty bucks just makes it easier.
This good all around mid range/nubee set is good for hunting from not long after you start. Used properly, Gremlin can help you knock down up to even an Atrox. It can be expensive to round up on the auction so that’s why I thought up this site. A complete armor set consists of seven peices. Sadly, my avatar is female so most of the armor I am able to sell will be (F).
I also have Kobold, Shogun, Bear, and Aurora(L) Armorsets available. My first set of Spartacus(L) is nearly complete. Make me an offer before I post them up. Kobold, Shogun and Aurora(L) were fairly easy to get, Gremlin was medium and Bear and Spartacus was pretty hard to get. If I sell my Bear for 2000PED that would actually be less than what I paid for it. Alas the market does fluctuate.
